May 3rd - "Me? Sarcastic? Never."

It's just absolutely not possible.  Me?  Sarcastic?  Never!

Well, clearly, that statement, from Tim Holtz Snarky Sticker pack, does not represent this lady and is why I've started on this journey of journaling and self-enlightenment.  Growing up in New England, I think sarcasm is in the water.  Many jokes are less offensive, if they even offensive at all?  I'm not sure that sarcasm is looked at as a personal attack on an individual in the North, where in the South, not only is it personally offensive, you become the one that 'can't hold her tongue.'  It's unfortunate.  I consider myself relatively witty and I find my humor is lost of many of my co-workers.  So, do they need to lighten up a bit, or do I just need to hold my tongue?  It's probably easier for me to hold my tongue.  :)

Today's journal prompt (Carrie Elle journal ) did lead me to that conclusion - "It's only a thought, and a thought can be changed."  So if I keep the snarky thoughts to myself, will it change?  HECK NO... I'll just giggle more on the inside.

Let's not discuss the word 'chocolate' as today's love letter lesson from Kelly Klapstein at Kelly Creates.... let's just not.
xoxo,

Lisa
